5.) Is SwiftCurrent internet affected by weather?
No, fiber is a hardline that’s run into the side of your home so clouds, snow, rain, wind do not affect your connection.
5.) How do I report service interruptions?

6.) Are SwiftCurrent Connect and PPCS joint companies?
No, SwiftCurrent Connect is PPCS’ broadband subsidiary, therefore they are separate companies.
7.) I have AutoPay set up with my electric account, but my internet account did not automatically deduct.
As they are separate accounts, you will have to initiate AutoPay for each account independently.
8.) How fast can I be ready to use the internet service after I submit a service order?
Construction may be needed if the service has not been made, this process could take approx. (USE UPDATED ACTIVATION TIMELINE WHEN FINALIZED) XXXX weeks to complete. If service was previously placed, activation could take place within a week’s time.
9.) I receive a paper bill for my electricity account, why not for my internet?
As the electric and internet accounts are completely separate, they have a different structure. Internet defaults to paperless billing unless you opt to receive a paper bill for $5/month. SmartHub enrollment is the easiest and fastest way to review your recent statements and bill history each month.
10.) Can I transfer the internet account into my tenant's name?
Yes, we will need the landlord’s authorization and acknowledgement, and a few pieces of their contact information such as their name(s), direct phone number, and a valid email address. They will also need to call into our office to verify contact information and billing specifics.
